3rd Mad Hatters’ Tea Party: A Recap
The 3rd Mad Hatters’ Tea Party in London on April 17 saw a good turnout of those interested in how the development of the HAT Platform is coming along.
At the event, HAT Project Lead Irene Ng unveiled the first HAT Hyperdata Browser, and demonstrated how vertical structures of data are ‘flattened’ and ‘liberated’ to create new mashups and new ways of putting together data for new services. Enable iD presented its proposition as the UK and Europe’s HAT Platform Provider, while HAT Project Partner Autonect discussed how they are working with the HAT Project. The afternoon wrapped up with a panel discussion with all presenters, facilitated by Matt Stroud, Digital Catapult Head of Personal Data and Trust.
For those who missed the event, here are a couple of recaps on Storify: one compiled by the HAT Project team, and a liveblog by Brian Condon.
