Irene Ng presented a keynote address on The University and the Internet-of-Things

May 26-27: Service Systems Forum, Venice, Italy

Part-funded by the HAT program and supporting its aims, the 1st Service Systems Forum (SSF2015) on Service Research in the Personal Data Economy was held as a forum for the exchange of ideas between service researchers and practitioners on the latest technologies, methodologies and case studies. HAT Project Lead Irene Ng presented a Keynote Address on Personal Data as an Amplification of Human Capability on the HAT.

HAT Platform Provider Enable iD was launched at an event featuring presentations by Enable iD Chief Strategy Officer Chris Thompson, Enable Managing Director Andrew Butt, and HAT Project Lead Irene Ng, who spoke on The New Personal Data Economy. 

March 26: SMMT Connected, London 

HAT Co-I Glenn Parry presented on the HAT as a panelist in the Emerging Business Models session at SSMT Connected, a connected and autonomous vehicles conference.

 

2014

Nov 5: Innovate UK 2014, London

Irene Ng presented on the HAT at Innovate UK 2014, which brings the best of UK innovation together to showcase to the world why the UK is the destination of choice for innovation. The event was organised by UK Trade & Investment and Innovate UK (formerly known as the Technology Strategy Board), and sponsored by the Research Councils UK.

Irene’s presentation was scheduled for the session entitled Why Invest In: Digital Economy on Day 1 of Innovate UK 2014. 

 

 

July 29: Xiao Ma presented on the HAT and how SMEs can get involved at the WMG Special Interest Group for the Internet-of-Things (IoT) meeting, which joins up with the  IoT Midlands meetup this month.
