C-HAT Discussion Forum Guidelines

Read and search. Prior to starting a new thread, please check to see if there are existing threads that are relevant to what you would like to discuss. Use the Forum search function on the right-hand side of this page to avoid creating duplicate threads and find the most appropriate subforum in which to post.

Stay on topic. Please keep to the topic being discussed in the thread, and refrain from cross-posting the same question across multiple threads. Don’t change the topic of a thread or split a thread into multiple discussions.

No advertising/self-promotion/spam. Please do not post any unsolicited ads to promote companies, goods, services, and/or other web sites. Do not spam the forums with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website, business or forums etc. Please do not post any unrelated content/off-topic posts, or multiple off-topic/solicitation posts by send private messages to a large number of different users.

Be responsible for your content. Please do not post any content that is owned by a third party and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other intellectual property, without the consent of the owner. Also, please do not post content that is libelous, defamatory, obscene or abusive. This includes material that offends or degrades others on the basis of gender, race, class, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual preference, disability or other classification.

Be respectful of others. When interacting with members of the forum through your posts, please be professional and courteous. We welcome polite debate as long as this is confined to the topic being discussed. Please do not attack, degrade, insult, abuse or belittle any member or the quality of this community.
